Being innovative and creative had been Güvener's strongest point almost from childhood. Starting from winning the most honored 'best web site of the year' contest of Turkey at the age of 16, up to his Computer Engineer degree @ Istanbul Technical University he worked in numerous projects, including but certainly not limited to web application infrastructure for MIT OCWTR, Info screen projects for Apple/Adobe Turkey, several Cocoa, Quartz, iPhone applications, RIAs with Adobe Flex and so on... As his graduation project, he developed the first patient management system for the iPhone, and just after the presentation to the profs he moved to Zurich. Currently as the lead developer of VayenTech, his vision is: "Vayen will be the leading IT company combining the nature of being human with technology through art"

Mert worked for Apple and Adobe Turkey for 3 years while doing his Bachelor degree @ Computer Engineering department in Istanbul Technical University. After graduation he decided to move to Zurich for a job as a software engineer. Soon he realized he wants to and is able to do much cooler projects with his 3 other friends (see up & down) he quit his job and founded VayenTech. As a masters student in Neural Systems & Computation @ ETH Zurich, Mert is mainly interested in Neuromorphic Engineering, Artificial Neural Networks, Ubiquitous/Pervasive Computing and Genetic Algorithms.
His vision for VayenTech: "Vayen will be the Massive Dynamics of the 2010s"

As an expert on data mining, Volkan enjoys seeing pattern behind 1s and 0s. Starting from local computer olympics (almost in primary school), his strongest point had been providing adaptive solutions involving machine learning algorithms. He had also gathered real life expertise by developing various HIS (Hospital Information System) for small/medium clinics and private practitioners. Besides being a very talented designer he is also the headhunter of Vayen, so if you'd like to be a part of this page, don't hesitate to contact him.
